West Fargo hires Dustin Roberts as CIO – InForum

WEST FARGO – The City of West Fargo recently hired Dustin Roberts as its Director of Information Technology (IT). In this role, Roberts will provide management, leadership and coordination in all areas of information and communications technology for the City. The CIO maintains the city’s core IT infrastructure and maintains the integrity of city data through information security and access management, among other duties, including managing IT personnel.

“We are very pleased to welcome Dustin as the head of our IT department,” said City Administrator Tina Fisk. “We look forward to using his experience with innovative technology to continue to drive the operations of the City of West Fargo forward.”

Roberts has a 24 year career in which he has been involved in all aspects of computing. Most recently, he served as the infrastructure team leader for Network Center, a Fargo-based technology solutions company, where he worked for four years. Previously, he worked as a network administrator for Forum Communications for 10 years and worked as a consultant.

“I’m thrilled to join the West Fargo team,” Roberts said. “I hope to use my skills and experience to improve and maintain the security and efficiency of the City’s IT systems and processes. »
