Navy Information Technology Short Term Commission: Apply by February 10

The Indian Navy has invited applications for the Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (IT) through entry into the Special Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

The candidate must meet the nationality requirements as defined by the Government of India. Single men and women born between July 2, 1997 and January 1, 2003 (both days inclusive) can apply.

The candidate must have at least 60% marks in English in class X or XII and must hold (a) MSc / BE / B Tech / M Tech (Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Systems / Cyber ​​Security / System Administration and Networking / Computer Systems and Networking / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence) or (b) MCA with BCA / BSc (Computer Science / Information Technology) with a minimum of 60% marks of overall qualifications, in one or the other or a combination of them. No equivalent stream of BE/B.Tech/other qualifications other than those mentioned will be considered. Final year students of qualifying courses may also apply.

NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be granted a 5% cut-off relaxation for prequalification for SSB subject to (i) having a Navy/US NCC ‘C’ certificate Army/Air Wing with a minimum grade of ‘B’ (ii) Not served less than two academic years in the senior division, NCC Naval/Army/Air Wing (iii) ‘C’ certificate not must be dated no earlier than June 1, 2019 (iv) the mandatory minimum qualification in all stages (SSB/Training/post-commissioning) qualification diploma is 60%.
