Genius Sports Group enters into FPF data distribution agreement


Genius Sports Group has established a long-term collaboration with the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) to enter, manage and disseminate the official data of the competitions of the national governing body.

Use the data provider’s suite of technology products to optimize the fan experience across Liga 1, Liga 2, Copa Bicentenario, Copa Peru and Torneo de Reservas matches, the FPF aims to deliver a new level of data-driven content during and after matches with the help of Genius Sports.

Leading data collection system Football LiveStats will capture advanced live information, including shot locations, VAR references and possession, with FPF data competitions fueling a range of fan engagement solutions, including MatchCenters, Widgets and an automated service d social media editor.

In addition, Genius Sports has been granted the exclusive rights to market official FPF data in certain markets in the United States and around the world in order to expand the organization’s global audience.

Genius has already made deals with a handful of national football confederations and organizations, including Mexico. MX League and the Argentinian Football Federation, as well as a recent agreement with the Malaysian Football League.
